Are you open during school holidays?

Yes. We will be extending our normal operating hours to facilitate the needs of working parents during school holidays. We understand arranging child care during holiday periods can become very difficult. Members of our centre can take advantage of the extended hours of 8.30am – 6.00pm, Monday – Friday. Your child will partake in various activities from arts and crafts, child friendly workshops, competitions, sports days, day visits at local trampoline parks, cinemas, as well as educational visits to local museums.

What age groups are your services aimed at?

It’s in the name. Kids Club 515 caters for children from ages 5 to 15.

Who will be teaching my child?

We have carefully selected a team of experienced and professional individuals, specialising in their own area of expertise.

All our staff have significant experience of working with children and undertake professional development training. All staff members have appropriate DBS and reference checks.

If you have a query or concern at any time, please speak to a member of staff at the club when you collect your child. If you prefer to arrange a more convenient time for a meeting, please contact the manager.

What are the adults to child ratios?

There will always be at least 2 adults on duty at the centre, this of course depends on how many children will be present. The legal requirement for adult to children’s ratio at a childcare setting is 1 adult to 30 children. However, we always endeavour to work to a ratio of 1 adult to 10 children.

How do you monitor my child’s progress?

During enrolment, depending on the service required, each child will undertake an initial assessment. This will allow our assessor to identify your child’s strengthens and any areas of development required.  A personal development plan will be created detailing both short-term and long-term targets. Each child will have an allocated key worker which will record and monitor your child’s progress.

Do you have parent’s evenings?

At Kids Club 515, we work very closely with several schools, educational institutes, Maqtabs and Madrasahs across Bradford to provide your child with the best quality childcare and educational support.

At Kids Club 515, parent’s evenings are held at the beginning and end of each term time. Dates and time will vary. We aim to work in partnership with the parent/school/Maqtabs/madrassah your child attends so that we can follow appropriate policies and procedures. This will tailor the learning to suit your child’s specific needs.
