Our Commitment to Positive Behaviour
At Kids Club 5-1-5, we believe that respect, kindness, and responsibility are the foundations of a happy and safe learning environment. Our Codes of Behaviour help us maintain a space where every child feels valued, supported, and encouraged to reach their full potential.
We promote clear, consistent, and positive strategies to guide behaviour. Our rules and expectations are compiled by the children themselves at the beginning of the year, fostering a sense of ownership and accountability.

Rights & Responsibilities
Every child at Kids Club 5-1-5 has the right to:
✔ Feel safe, cared for, and respected.
✔ Learn to the best of their ability in a supportive environment.
✔ Be treated fairly and equally, regardless of background.
✔ Enjoy a bully-free zone, where everyone is valued.
Every child is expected to:
✔ Be responsible for their own behaviour.
✔ Respect others, including staff and peers.
✔ Be helpful and kind to those around them.
✔ Take an active role in their learning and development.
Our Golden Rules
At Kids Club 5-1-5, we live by five simple but important rules:
1️⃣ Always aim high – Do your best and make good choices.
2️⃣ Show respect – Be kind, polite, and listen to others.
3️⃣ Follow instructions – Respect staff and their guidance.
4️⃣ Take care of property – Look after the centre’s and others’ belongings.
5️⃣ Be a team player – Play fairly, share, and include everyone.
Additionally, children are expected to:
✔ Accept responsibility for their actions.
✔ Complete their homework to a high standard and submit it on time.
✔ Be independent in their work but ask for help when needed.
✔ Take home all important letters and hand them to their parents.
Encouraging Positive Behaviour
We recognise and reward achievements through:
🏆 Stickers & certificates for effort and improvement.
👏 Verbal praise and encouragement.
📢 Sharing great work with staff and peers.
This motivates children to make good choices, take pride in their actions, and develop confidence in their abilities.
Zero Tolerance for Bullying
🔴 No Verbal or Physical Bullying – Ever.
Kids Club 5-1-5 has a zero-tolerance policy towards bullying in any form. We take incidents seriously and work firmly and fairly to address them.
🚨 If you or your child witnesses any bullying behaviour, please report it immediately to a staff member. Together, we can create a safe and inclusive environment for all.
