Our rules

Kids Club 515 follows the Play work Principles. This is a child-led programme that allows the children to freely choose the available activities and resources as they wish.

Safeguarding & Child Protection

At Kids Club 515, children are our top priority. We are committed to building a ‘culture of safety’ in which the children in our care are protected from any sort of abuse and harm. Any suspicion of abuse is promptly and appropriately responded to. We comply with local and national child protection procedures and ensure that all staff are appropriately trained.

Special needs

We comply with ‘every child matters’ policy following the 5 principles of SAFE, HEALTHY, ENJOY/ACHIEVE, ECONOMIC & POSITIVE CONTRIBUTION.
Every child is special and unique in their own way. We will accommodate and welcome any child with Special Needs or Special Education Needs. Working alongside with parents/carers along with relevant external professionals to fully accommodate to the child’s specific requirements.
We will endeavour to accommodate children of all abilities, whilst working within the club’s limitations. Each case will be considered individually and risk-assessed to ensure everyone’s safety.
Our staff training programme includes specific elements relating to children with special needs.

• Share and discuss your child’s achievements, experiences, progress, and friendships.
• Be available to discuss decisions about any changes or adaptations required along with being open to taking any suggestions.
• Always informing and seeking permission before leaving the centre for any day trips/external activities or competitions.
• Listen to your views and concerns to ensure that we continue to meet your needs.
• Providing parents with the best possible services.
